Hi! My name is Julia, and I am senior in high school. I care very much about the environment, and that is why I made this blog.

I have been writing this blog since I was a fifth grader looking for a way to advocate for environmental justice.

During this time, I have found ways to protect my own community by becoming the President of my school’s Growing Greener club and working on the eelgrass team at Cohasset Center for Student Coastal Research. When I reflect on my first post, I never could have imagined that it would be normal to see electric vehicles and paper over plastic bags in grocery stores. This shows me that there is hope, and this blog as a journal has allowed me to see that progress is happening.

I think that if we all do little things to help the environment, then one big thing will happen and we will be making the planet healthier and stronger. I also really enjoy cross country, tennis, and art. Thank you for reading!
